Cristiano Leone has been appointed as an expert member for the Performing Arts and Theater category in the prestigious Nuovi Mecenati Foundation.

Established in October 2005 by founding members including Luigi Guidobono Cavalchini Garofoli and Susanna Agnelli, the Foundation aims to strengthen French-Italian cultural relations in the field of contemporary creation, to support the circulation of French works and artists on Italian territory, and to support co-production, audiovisual and television broadcasting projects.

Financial support is given to cultural institutions, public or private, Italian or French, for projects involving artists, known or emerging, representative of the contemporary cultural scene.

In collaboration with Italian artists and operators, its action takes place in the fields of visual arts, theater, music and dance but also circus, street arts, cinema and audiovisual.

The New Patrons Foundation’s call for proposals is open until April 30!

The Foundation reviews arts projects that require support for dissemination. Projects must be submitted by April 30, 2024.

Projects that fall into these areas: visual arts, photography, digital art, design, theater, dance, cinema, literature, music, circus and nouveau cirque, and that promote French artists in Italy, must be submitted by cultural institutions, festivals or companies.
